Anxious to inform, The Diary this week brings you three things you never knew about Brunel University. It was the film setting for Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange . It has been used in a number of episodes of Inspector Morse . And now it is being used for a new Bollywood feature film, Indian Baboo .
The film's heroine, Dil, studies at the university. The plot - taking in family conflicts over land in India, murder, inheritance, illness, love and freedom - has been described as "an everyday story of the benefits of higher education in the UK".
