Boost to foreign aid

Sheffield University and Kaplan, the exam preparation company, have signed an agreement to develop preparation programmes for foreign students seeking entry to the university. Sheffield International College will be based at Sheffield's new North Campus, and will provide foundation studies and graduate diploma (pre-masters) qualifications in two areas of study: business, law and social sciences; and science and engineering. The first intake will be in September 2006.
