The technology of robotic space science is to be used to inspire the students of tomorrow in South Yorkshire in a partnership between the University of Bradford and Sheffield Hallam University. Bradford has already worked with ,000 schoolchildren across West Yorkshire to inspire them to take science, technology, engineering and mathematics subjects seriously. Now, in a tie-up with Sheffield Hallam's Centre for Science Education, the university is extending its audience. Students are given demonstrations of inspirational technology, such as the Bradford Robotic Telescope in the Canary Islands, to spark their interest in the subjects.
