British Library offers its catalogue online

The British Library has put its catalogue online, allowing academics, business and the public to access bibliographic records on any subject.

The British Library public catalogue contains information on about 10 million books and other material, comprising books and reports from 1980, journals and serials from 1700 and conferences from 1800. Orders for loans or photocopies can also be placed via the website.

The catalogue is available at www.blpc.bl.uk
