The British national conference on databases will take place in Edinburgh, Scotland, from 7 to 9 July 2004.
The conference is now in its 21st year, and has shifted from its original focus on databases to a broader range of topics, including data models and architectures, database integration and interoperability, e-business, information retrieval, mobile computing, new application areas and processes, web semantics and ontologies, and workflow support systems.
The conference will be the focus of a week of activities, including workshops, tutorials, an exhibition and a programming competition.
