SCIENTISTS at Oxford University say that the incidence of BSE and Great Britain and Northern Ireland is declining rapidly and is likely to continue to do so over the next three years.
A team led by Neil Ferguson conducted the most detailed analysis of statistics yet on BSE in Northern Ireland.
The analysis revealed that the proportion of cattle infected with BSE in Northern Ireland is less than one-tenth of the proportion in the rest of the United Kingdom.
