An interim management team has this week been appointed for the e-university, which aims to offer online courses developed by British universities and colleges.
Nick Winton, an independent business consultant, has been appointed interim chief executive by the Higher Education Funding Council for England. John Slater is interim technology director, on secondment from his post as head of the technologies centre at the Institute for Teaching and Learning, and Keith Palmer, vice-chairman of N. M. Rothschild & Sons, is interim part-time commercial director.
