Bundle of grants

Consolidating research grant funding and introducing institutional quotas for grant bids are included in a new research council consultation on how to make peer review more efficient.

The consultation proposes bundling together research council grants so researchers would have to apply for them less often. It also recommends introducing quotas for the maximum number of bids each institution could submit over an identified period. The deadline for submissions is January 19.
