The aim of this Joseph Rowntree Foundation project is to describe the current system of benefit uprating in the UK, its implications and alternative models and then to model and cost more socially just methods. The project will be used to bring to the attention of the policy and practice communities, the public and other stakeholders the facts about and implications of the current system and the costs of alternatives. The maximum budget for this project is £70,000.
