The European Commission's Enterprise DG has published a call for tenders for a study of quality and security aspects of web-based services.
The purpose of the call is the provision of an in depth study of the emerging web-based services market, and in particular the quality and security aspects of it. The study will identify the obstacles to the competitiveness and the cooperation between companies operating in this sector, analyse the quality and security aspects of the provision of IT services over the web and consider the possible needs for standardisation. The estimated budget for the study is 70,000 euro.
