Leading international law experts are to meet in Cambridge University this month to look at what happens when freedom of speech crosses the boundary with extremism and racial hatred. The conference, Extreme Speech and Democracy , will focus on whether and how to control freedom of speech. It will cover the veil controversies, Holocaust denial, glorification of terrorism and religious speech that offends secular values.
