In its report The Cloning of Animals From Adult Cells expected this week, the House of Commons science and technology committee will call for changes in the law on human cloning, following the cloning of a sheep at the Roslin Institute in Scotland. Committee member Spencer Batiste MP said: "We are concerned that the new technology if applied to human beings might not be covered by a strict interpretation of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act of 1990."
