The Commons employment sub-committee will evaluate the success of the New Deal for unemployed young people by conducting a short inquiry.
It will aim to address how successful the scheme has been in moving young people into sustainable employment.
The committee will also examine the effectiveness and comprehensiveness of the government's programme for evaluating the New Deal. It will look at whether lessons from the New Deal for young people have informed the development of other strands of the New Deal.
Written evidence must be submitted to the clerk of the committee by November 9.
