Brussels, 03 Jun 2004
Based on the results of the Commission funded Qual-e-learning project, a conference will be held in Strasbourg, France, on 21 and 22 September aimed at analysing the conditions required to ensure that learners benefit from quality e-learning.
Entitled 'e-learning from research to reality: how to evaluate training effectiveness', the conference will bring together e-learning experts from across Europe. It is hoped that, based on the outcomes of the event, those in charge of education services, national, regional and local authorities, as well as public and private teachers, will adjust their approaches to the development of e-learning.
The major themes that will be addressed during the conference include:
- e-learning: the European perspective;
- futuristic views;
- national policies and experiences in e-learning: France, Germany, Italy, Spain;
- Qual-e-learning project results;
- pedagogical quality in e-learning.
