Additional sums from 2004-05 were incorrectly included in the 2005-06 salary and pension figures published for Oxford University's vice-chancellor in last week's vice-chancellors' pay table. The figures for 2005-06 should have read salary £203,000 and pension £34,000, which would take the Oxford vice-chancellor from 11th position to 31st in the ranking.

The figure for Bell College principal Alex Maclennan's salary should have been £85,000 for 2005-06.
