Corrigendum to call for proposals for Descartes prize

The European Commission has published a corrigendum to its call for proposals for the René Descartes prize for excellent transnational collaborative research under the Sixth Framework Programme's 'Science and Society' activity.

The following corrections are referenced according to the page numbers as they appeared in the Official Journal on 17 December 2002 (reference below).

Pages 77, Annex 17, point 13:

The following evaluation criteria will now apply

1. Excellence and quality of the proposal:
-quality and novelty of the results achieved;
-contribution to addressing key scientific and technological issues.

2. European added value

The extent to which:
-the results of the research can only be achieved if carried out at European level and beyond;
-the proposal addresses key issues of the European Research Area (ERA).
