Country matters

Dorset is the location for an adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's The Travelling Companion . The film is being made this month by staff, students and graduates of Bournemouth Media School and has the backing of Andrew Ireland, a 2004 National Teaching Fellow. He has invested his Pounds 50,000 award in the film and towards compiling a teaching resource pack on digital film production. The pack includes DVDs and material on aspects of production such as scriptwriting, directing and operation of kit. It will be sent to institutions teaching video and film production for the cost of postage
