The Association of European science and technology transfer professionals (ASTP) will hold its annual seminar on 'Creating science based start-ups' in Zurich, Switzerland on 9 to 11 October.
Plenary sessions will be led by experts from Europe, the USA and Israel, and will cover a wide range of subjects. The conference will highlight the most recent developments in science based start-ups, and will examine some common problems, such as how to identify a start-up opportunity.
Key topics at the event will include:
- practice models
- from technology to a business plan
- early stage investments
- valuation and structuring considerations
- license agreements
- locating your start-up
- things that can go wrong.
