Coventry University's educational development unit is working on ways to give ethnic minority women more opportunities to study. The idea is to develop IT skills and encourage women with qualifications from their country of origin to take advantage of the accreditation of prior learning exemption in some areas of study. The move is part of a university project to open access to those who have not traditionally experienced university education.
