Cricklade College did not victimise lecturer Andrew Murray for his union activity, an employment tribunal has ruled.
The Southampton tribunal ruled unanimously that Mr Murray, branch official for lecturers' union Natfhe, was fairly dismissed by reason of redundancy. Mr Murray played a central role in exposing financial mismanagement that resulted in the dismissal of former principal Richard Evans, who was found to have breached European Social Fund Regulations.
