An Australian university is preparing to open a campus in Dubai.
Curtin University will offer courses in business, media and education at Dubai International Academic City from September, and is initially looking to recruit about 1,000 students.
Programmes in computer science-related disciplines will be added in 2018, with the campus set to expand to accommodate 2,000 students by the following year, Gulf News reported.
About 80 per cent of student places are expected to be filled by learners from the United Arab Emirates, with the remainder available for international students.
