Film star Ewan McGregor got more than an honorary DLitt when he turned up at Ulster University last week. He is seeking banjo lessons for a film role and UU's Institute of Ulster-Scots has offered to use its links with the University of Tennessee to track down the state's top bluegrass banjo plucker to help Ewan perfect his twang.
