An invention produced at De Montfort University that was shortlisted in last year's Times Higher Education Awards has hit the market. The Bagrak device is designed to keep shopping bags static in cars by fitting in the boot and keeping the bags upright. The university was responsible for designing, developing and testing the product, which went on sale to consumers last week.
