Dearing teams up

October 4, 1996

A team from the Institute of Education, London, will examine more than 1,500 replies to a questionnaire from the Dearing inquiry into higher education.

Led by Ronald Barnett, dean of professional development and professor of higher education, it will include Gareth Williams, Gareth Parry and two independent consultants, Svava Bjarnason and Peter Boshier. Their results should appear next year alongside Dearing's main report.
