Graduate unemployment has dropped by half a per cent to 6.1 per cent, the latest What Do Graduates Do? report confirmed this week.
Architecture, law and civil engineering have the lowest graduate unemployment rates at 3.3, 3.8 and 3.9 per cent respectively, according to the report based on data from the Higher Education Statistics Agency on graduates in 2004. Degrees offering the best immediate employment record for graduates are said to be in marketing, media studies and civil engineering. The report is published by the Higher Education Careers Service Unit.
