DoE pumps Pounds 34,000 into greening

FOUR years after the Toyne report first demanded the greening of Britain's universities, the Department of the Environment has contributed Pounds 34,000 to a national "greening" initiative. The money, which is expected to be matched by non-government funding, will finance guidelines for greening parts of the curriculum, as well as helping institutions adapt to European environmental standards.
