A £4 million research centre at Liverpool University aims to combat disease by allowing academics to design drugs at a microscopic level. The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Centre, funded by the Science Research Investment Fund, should lead to improvement in drugs to combat Alzheimer's as well as tropical and cardiovascular diseases.
