Education in the home

Research from the Institute of Education in London has concluded that home education is a viable and successful alternative to school. Alan Thomas, visiting fellow at the institute, has studied ten families in Britain and Australia and found that the parents came to appreciate how much children learn informally at home through the experience of everyday living.
