Private research investment in EU clocks up significant growth

This year's EU Industrial R&D Investment Scoreboard has revealed that private research investment in the EU rose by 5.3% in 2005, with pharmaceuticals and biotechnology among the leading sectors. This, along with a strong growth outlook by European firms surveyed, is good news for Europe
