Scientists are planning to send a human test subject plummeting 38km from the edge of the stratosphere - the greatest freefall distance yet attempted.
The team, led by experts from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in Spain, want to assess the physiological and psychological effects that a person will endure during their descent.
