The Uzbekistan version of The THES was closed on government orders this week for making grammatical errors, according to Russian television reports.
The Uzbek minister of higher and general education, Rustama Kraymova, ordered the closure because of mistakes in articles published in Uzbek, Russian and English, NTV television reported this week. Only three issues of Natsionalnoe Obrazovanie were produced.
