Students preparing to go to university in the autumn are more concerned about making friends than paying bills, according to a survey published this week. The survey of more than 8,000 students by student website yougofurther.co.uk found that 69 per cent of freshers were worried about making friends, 41 per cent were concerned about bills, and 57 per cent were worried about balancing academic work with other commitments.
