* Heriot-Watt University has been criticised by quality auditors for ambiguously playing-down its relationship with Israeli partner, Ramat-Gan College, and underestimating the need for quality controls. The university said the relationship was limited to commercial transactions concerning course materials and that it has no responsibility for students at the college.
