Glasgow and Strathclyde universities are joining forces to create a pioneering centre for clean, reliable and affordable energy.
Strathclyde is combining its expertise in power economics, renewable energy and management systems with Glasgow's strengths in clean power systems, power electronics and integrated control systems in a Pounds 1-million centre for economic renewable power. The initiative is backed by Pounds 620,000 from the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council.
