Brussels, Nov 2002
The European University Association (EUA) is holding a conference on research in the social sciences, economics and humanities in Brussels on 3 and 4 December.
The EUA represents 34 Rectors' Conferences as well as 615 individual European universities, the Network of University Rectors from 'Latin' countries and the Bureau of the French Rectors' Conference (CPU).
The conference is targeted at researchers who submitted expressions of interest to the Commission for the 7 June deadline.
The objective of the meeting is to allow these groups of researchers to meet and discuss their fields of research and to explore possibilities of closer collaboration and pooling their efforts where this makes sense in the light of their respective research interests.
