The Human Genetics Advisory Commission will hold a series of consultations this year to help identify key issues emerging from developments in human genetics.
Colin Campbell, HGAC chairman, said: "We have to be alert to these developments and their wider implications so as not to be taken by surprise." The consultation programme, which will involve meetings with experts, will be announced soon.
