GM animal consultation

The Nuffield Council on Bioethics has begun a consultation on the use of genetically modified animals in research. Nearly a quarter of animal experiments last year used GM animals, ten times more than in 1991.

The review will look into the acceptability of using animals, alternatives to animal research and regulations.
