(Photograph) - A visitor to the new British Library sits on Bill Woodrow's bronze sculpture, Sitting On History. The Pounds 511-million library was formally opened by Her Majesty the Queen yesterday. A spokesman denied reports that the library has decided to charge for access to its reading rooms. He said that even if it were considered, "the culture secretary would have to give his approval".
