Scotland's first minister, Jack McConnell, has been expanding vocational training opportunities by hiring catering students to organise and deliver formal dinners.
He said: "(My wife) and I made a conscious decision to use students for certain occasions when entertaining at the official residence. It has been a delight to encourage these talented young people."
