Couples who live together share not only their worldly goods but also their memory resources, according to psychologists at Manchester University.
A project at Manchester aims to discover whether couples manage to remember to remind each other to do things by tying knots in their handkerchiefs or through more sophisticated techniques.
Julie Bhagat is seeking volunteers to take part in the experiment, which will begin by compiling diaries of the times one person asks the other to help them remember something.
