How to ensure the participation of civil society in research policy - forthcoming call for tenders

The European Commission's Research DG has published a prior information notice regarding an invitation to tender for an initiative in the field of science and governance.

The European Commission intends to launch an invitation to tender within the framework of its actions in the field of governance in relation to the science and society action plan.

The contract will aim to obtain a better understanding of the necessary conditions for an effective participation of civil society in research policy in the context of the creation of the European research area, including the field of scientific and technological expertise dedicated to other policies based on science and technology.

The estimated value for this procurement is 100,000 euro.

Remarks: The estimated date for initiating the award procedure is the second semester of 2002.
