Leeds Metropolitan University is looking for academic movers and shakers as part of a major recruitment drive that includes appointing an unspecified number of "running stream professors".
Running stream professors are defined as academics recruited from outside whose purpose is to shake up university thinking and "energise and refresh" it.
Leeds Met, which is advertising in this week's Times Higher , is offering professorships in social science of sport, sports management, events management, graduate enterprise, human resource development, criminal justice, northern studies and cultural partnerships and festivals.
The university is also looking to appoint a dean of the arts and society and a dean of health. It is looking for a number of associate deans to look after the Regional University Network, students and curriculum changes, research partnerships, consultancy, law, accounting and financial services.
Two chairs, one in nutritional biochemistry, the other in African enterprise, are also on offer.
