An international conference entitled 'Images of Science - new interactions between science and society' will take place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on 6 and 7 December.
The event will address how scientists respond to ethical, legal and social issues related to or resulting from their activities. It was also ask the question: is the interaction between science and society across the various disciplines equally strong?
The conference is intended for scientists, politicians, policy makers and other interested parties from Europe. The programme provides for an overview of developments over the last 15 years, as well as discussions on the future.
