A spin-off company from Imperial College London, has won equipment worth €30,000 (£19,000) in a pan-European Hewlett Packard new-ventures competition. PhotoBiotics Ltd beat 20 entrants from 11 European technological universities with its work on light-activated therapies for cancer and microbial infections.
