Scientists at Liverpool University are investigating the anticipated effects of climate change on India's monsoon season and the impact alterations in the country's water cycle will have on the people, agriculture and wildlife. Scientists predict that by the end of the century India will experience a 3-5C temperature increase and a 20 per cent rise in all summer monsoon rainfall.
