The third Rothamsted international biomarket, supported by the Commission under the Quality of life programme of the Fifth Framework programme, will take place in Harpenden, UK on 5 to 7 November.
The event is an international commercial networking meeting for those involved in the research, development and commercialisation of innovative products and services derived from plant and microbial sources. In particular, the event is targeted at bio-entrepreneurs, bioscience incubator and business development managers, investors, patent agents, technology transfer groups and others interested in commercialising plant and microbe derived products.
The programme will cover agbiotechnology, bioprospecting, bioremediation, biotherapeutics, crop protection, diagnostics, functional foods, genomics, industrial feedstocks, marine biotechnology, microbial inoculants, pharmacognosy, plant molecular biology and renewable feedstocks. The event will also include a showcase on the cell factory sub-section of the Quality of life programme.
