An international gene forum will take place in Tartu, Estonia, on 23 and 24 September.
The event will be multidisciplinary, its principal aim being to bring together professional and laypersons from the general public for deliberation and debate on advances in biomedical research.
The forum will include presentations on population genetics and complex traits, epigenetic lessons from livestock, using genetics to identify environmental causes of cancer, and genotypes and phenotypes.
