IRMM produces 41Ca reference material to combat Osteoporosis
Geel (BE): At IRMM in Geel a set of calcium isotopic reference materials has been produced as part of a study on the metabolism of Ca and bone. This work is performed in order to reinforce the scientific base for dietary strategies for osteoporosis prevention in Europe.
The reference materials IRMM 3701/1-8 will cover ranging from 10 -6 to 10 -13 .
