A £2.5 million creative research laboratory, which will encourage a multidisciplinary approach to "exploring places, products and systems for the future" has been launched by the Lancaster University. The Imagination@Lancaster laboratory is staffed by a team of eight academics with expertise that ranges from industrial design and new technologies to service design and urban environments.
