A management school is creating more than two dozen academic posts despite the retrenchment affecting the sector. Thirty professors, senior lecturers and lecturers will be appointed across departments at Lancaster University Management School, including management science, marketing, economics, human resources, accounting and finance. Sue Cox, dean of the school, said the university was looking to recruit "high-calibre faculty" as part of the expansion plan.
